Today I’m excited to share the news that Lexalytics has been acquired by InMoment, the leader in Experience Improvement (XI). If you haven’t already seen the press release it can be viewed here.
For nearly two decades, Lexalytics has been a pioneer in structured and unstructured data analytics, translating text into profitable decisions with our natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the world’s most customer-centric brands. By joining forces with InMoment, we will now be able to offer our customers a greater, industry-leading portfolio of products and services that improve customer and employee experiences.
For InMoment, the acquisition means their customers now have access to even more in-depth and superior unstructured analytics that include the ability to handle social, call center, chat, reviews, and other unstructured data; more advanced machine learning models with vertical industry packs; and the ability to deploy text analytics on-premise for sensitive data. Given that more than 80% of customer and employee experience data is unstructured, businesses need the ability to act on that data quickly across multiple languages and channels, beyond just structured surveys. And the good news is, this acquisition makes that possible for more businesses worldwide.
