Text Analytics in Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish!

We’ve just added three of the Nordic languages to our roster: Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. This means we now support 19 international languages, which brings our total coverage to over 63 percent of all of the native speakers in the world. That’s right, 63 percent of the world can now use our service for text analytics.

Our partners over at Falcon Social are also very excited about our launch, as it makes them the first vendor in Scandinavia that offers sentiment analysis technology for the Nordic languages.

We’ve also received a certification of compliance with the Safe Harbor Framework by the United States Department of Commerce and the European Commission. As a big privacy buff I’m personally very excited about this advancement. If your company wishes to keep data exclusively in the European Union, Lexalytics can and will oblige, as it maintains a datacenter in Ireland.

“Some of Lexalytics’ biggest partners and customers have a large consumer base to tap into in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, so it’s important that they have access to a text and sentiment analytics platform that can analyze their content natively and understand how consumers are responding to their products and services,” said Jeff Catlin, CEO, Lexalytics. “One of Lexalytics’ key differentiators is the large number of languages it supports, and the addition of these languages to its product suite means Lexalytics’ current and future partners and customers can now access over 19 million more consumers right in their own language. With our Safe Harbor certification, we are bolstering our commitment to protecting our customers’ privacy throughout Europe.”
