There’s no reason sentiment analysis can’t be fun. Further, just because you don’t know what an “alpha-numeric content threshold” is doesn’t mean you can’t reap the benefits of a thorough sentiment analysis. Or, at least that’s the case now. We wanted to make sentiment analysis accessible to more people and refine the process for those who are already familiar with the concepts. To do this, Lexalytics developed SWIZ, our own wizard and graphical user interface (GUI), available immediately for all Semantria SaaS subscribers.
“Just like Apple changed the game for consumers with its first Macintosh in 1984, making personal computing easy and fun through an innovative GUI, we want to improve the job of data analysts by making it just as fun, easy, and intuitive with SWIZ.” Said Lexalytics CEO Jeff Catlin. And, along with SWIZ, we’ve also released a new take on the Semantria Online Configurator, or SWEB 1.3.
Not only has the layout changed, the functionality overall has been updated to simplify and speed up the process. This is a game changer in the sentiment analysis space. All the user needs to do is input the content they are processing (e.g., social media, blogs, news articles, etc.) and what language it is in and Lexalytics does the rest. “Lexalytics provides the most knobs to turn to get the results exactly as you want them, and now our customers don’t even have to think about them,” continued Catlin. It’s our goal to make the process of sentiment analysis as intuitive as possible while also being completely tunable and configurable. With SWEB 1.3 and SWIZ we’re doing just that.
